Attaching photographs to a job
Take them at intake, before the item leaves the counter. It is the record that settles what condition it arrived in.

The photograph that matters is the one taken while the customer is still standing there.

Adding them

On the job card, tap Add photograph. On a phone or tablet this opens the camera directly. On a desktop it opens a file picker. There is no limit worth worrying about; four is typical.

What to photograph

The thing as a whole, then anything already damaged. A scuffed rim, a cracked case corner, a scratch on a bezel. You are not building a gallery, you are recording a starting point.

Why at intake

A photograph taken after the repair proves nothing. One taken at intake, with a timestamp, ends the conversation that starts "that mark was not there before" — which is the single most common dispute in a repair shop, and the one that costs the most goodwill to lose.

Customers see intake photographs on their own job page. That is deliberate: it is their item, and showing them the record up front is what stops it being needed later.
